Scott Cao 950 Violin

The Cannon, Kreisler, Ex-David, Soil, Scarampella and replicas are commonly stocked - all other replicas are custom order and may take up to 6 months.

These replicas are one-piece backs (and $200 more): Cremonese, King Joseph, Lord Wilton, Ysaye, and Viotti.

The 950 is hand built in combination between the Campbell, California and Guangzhau workshops. The violin is built in the Guangzhau workshop, then shipped to the USA where it is varnished and set up in Campbell, CA. 15-year aged, highly flamed Bosnian Maple and aged Italian spruce is specifically chosen for the 950 series instruments. Skilled craftsmanship and artistic varnishing are hallmarks of the STV 950 series.

All models of Scott Cao Violins are professionally set up, tested/tuned/adjusted and ready to play out the box. We offer all replicas in the drop down menu but some models might have to be custom ordered from Scott Cao due to limited availability.
